SGNLS is a bootstrapped, production-ready roadside assistance platform built by a single founder. No VC runway. No borrowed ideas. Just real infrastructure.
Forward-Looking Disclaimer: All projections and market estimates on this page are based on publicly available market research and founder assumptions. They are not guarantees of future performance. SGNLS is an early-stage platform. Investing in early-stage technology companies carries significant risk including total loss of capital.
The roadside assistance industry is dominated by large incumbents (AAA, Agero, Urgently) that operate on insurance-gated, slow-dispatch models. The average wait time for traditional roadside assistance is 45–90 minutes. Coverage is uneven. Pricing is opaque. Technicians are underpaid middlemen.
Meanwhile, rideshare platforms have proven that peer-to-peer dispatch at scale works. No comparable platform has applied this model specifically to roadside assistance — until SGNLS.
| Segment | Market Size | Source |
|---|---|---|
| US Roadside Assistance Market | $9.8B (2024) | IBISWorld |
| Annual US Roadside Incidents | ~69 million | AAA estimates |
| US Drivers (Licensed) | 228 million | FHWA |
| TAM — Platform Subscription Model | $1.4B+ (1% penetration) | Founder estimate |
| SAM — Midwest initial launch region | ~$320M | Founder estimate |
The gig economy precedent (Uber, DoorDash, TaskRabbit) demonstrates that peer-to-peer labor platforms can rapidly displace legacy incumbents when they offer speed, transparency, and better technician earnings.
Monthly platform access subscription. Billed per active member. Includes: priority signal routing, 10% ride fare discount, verified member badge, tow partner rate access. Does NOT include any free services.
Platform fee collected on every completed job processed through SGNLS. Applied to all service types: jump starts, fuel delivery, tire changes, lockout, tow referrals, and ride requests.
Ride requests (driver needs transport) are billed at $1.75/mile + $4.00 minimum. Members ride at $1.58/mile. SGNLS retains 13% platform fee; remainder goes to technician/driver.
Roadmap item: enterprise licensing to fleet operators, insurance companies, and municipal fleets for embedded roadside dispatch. Potential for white-label deployments.
Negotiated referral fees with tow partner companies in exchange for preferential listing and user rate discounts. Currently in early partnership discussions.
Potential integration with auto insurance providers and extended warranty companies to offer embedded SGNLS dispatch as a benefit to policyholders.

SGNLS was built without outside capital. Every line of code, every design decision, every Firebase rule, every Stripe integration — written by one person. This is not a pitch deck that became a prototype. This is a live, deployed, App Store-reviewed application.
The bootstrap origin means the cap table is clean, equity is available, and the founder retains full strategic control. Any investment goes directly into growth — not into paying back previous rounds.
SGNLS is not currently raising a formal round. The platform is self-sustaining at early scale. Strategic partners, angel investors, and ecosystem integrators (insurance, fleet, automotive) are welcome to reach out for preliminary conversations.
Areas of interest: Android development partnership, tow partner network deals, marketing/growth capital, insurance carrier integrations, enterprise fleet contracts.
All investor and partnership communications go directly to the founder.
